October 15, 1984 Consolidated two temples, Ko-ryo-sa and Sun-kook-sa, and renamed to Mumunsa.
December 20, 1984 Moved to City of Novi.
December 5, 1985 Declared the building was unsuitable for assembly and closed by a court order.
June 23, 1986 Acquisition of a building in Troy.
August 15, 1986 Reopened the temple for operation and resumed services.
October 30, 1989 Acquisition of property and moved to Rochester Hills.
November 7, 1989 Request for land use permit to the City
February 12, 1990 Approval of land use permit from the City.
August 8, 1991 Request for building Dharma Hall to the City.
October 13, 1991 Ground breaking of Dharma Hall.
February 9, 1992 Ceremony to commemorate the completion of frame work for Dharma Hall.
May 12, 1993 Awarded temporary occupancy permit for Dharma Hall by the City.
December 12, 1993 Dedication of statue; Ksitigarbha, Bodhisattva of Suffering in Dharma Hall.
February 13, 1994 Dedication of statue; Avalokitesvara, the Bodhisattva of Compassion in Dharma Hall.
May 7, 1995 Completion of three-story stupa and two stone lanterns.
July 25, 1995 Dedication of the Dharma Hall completion.
November 13, 1998 Ground breaking for a Meditation Hall and Living Quarters.
May 16, 1999 Ceremony to commemorate the completion of frame work for Meditation Hall.
May 7, 2000 Dedication of statue; Avalokitesvara, the Bodhisattva of Compassion in the Meditation Hall.
May 11, 2000 Completion of the Meditation Hall and Living Quarters.
June 4, 2001 Remodeling interior of Dharma Hall.
May 12, 2002 Landscaping around Dharma Hall.
May 19, 2002 Completion of landscaping.
August 10, 2003 Dedication of the Statue of Nirvana.
